A Church Called Home

A Church Called Home is an expansion and renovation designed to unite new construction with the existing campus while creating a more welcoming and connected environment for worship, fellowship, and community life. A contemporary exterior expression establishes a strong new identity for the church, while the expanded worship space provides greater capacity and flexibility for services, events, and ministry.

At the heart of the project, a light-filled gathering area connects the worship environment with a café, children’s ministry spaces, and informal seating areas. Warm wood elements, natural textures, integrated greenery, and clear interior wayfinding create an inviting sense of arrival and encourage connection throughout the week. By bringing worship, hospitality, and community-focused amenities together, the design supports the church’s mission to create a place where people feel welcomed, known, and at home.
