Anakeesta

Located within Anakeesta in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the Hellbender Mountain Coaster renovation expands and reorganizes the existing attraction to improve capacity, circulation, operations, and the overall guest experience. The project shifts the existing coaster alignment and introduces a second coaster, creating a more efficient dual-track operation within the existing attraction area.

Selective demolition makes room for a new central path of ingress and egress, improving movement through the facility for guests and staff. The updated design also provides dedicated staff locker access, additional rail-car storage, and supporting operational improvements. Together, these modifications allow the attraction to accommodate expanded service while maintaining the adventurous character of the Hellbender Mountain Coaster.
