Burlington Mill Mixed Use

Working in collaboration with the ownership team and Arcadis/IBI Group, DKLEVY with JAI helped lead the master planning effort for Brush Creek, a large-scale mixed-use community centered on ecological restoration, walkability, and connected urban living. The plan reclaims portions of a creek corridor that had been heavily covered and constrained by existing development, creating new opportunities for open space, pedestrian circulation, and meaningful connections to the landscape.

Envisioned across a 22.1-acre site, the development includes approximately 1,000 residential units within eleven buildings, 40,000 square feet of retail space, indoor and outdoor resident amenities, and a centralized community square. Buildings and gathering spaces are organized to frame the restored creek, with landscaped pathways, pedestrian bridges, and outdoor destinations strengthening the relationship between the community and the waterway. The first phase is planned to introduce 190 residences within two five-story buildings.
