Lonsdale Community Church

Located in Knoxville’s Lonsdale community, Lonsdale Community Church is a renovation of an existing neighborhood church designed to strengthen worship, fellowship, accessibility, and everyday ministry. The project reworks both the sanctuary level and basement while preserving the character and familiarity of the existing building.

The renovated sanctuary includes a vaulted ceiling, updated lighting and fans, a larger foyer, improved stage access, and seating for approximately 160 people. The basement is reorganized to include a large gathering space with a kitchenette, classroom, nursery, office, storage, and renovated restrooms. New accessible ramps, revised stairs, replacement windows and doors, additional parking, and refreshed interior and exterior finishes create a more welcoming and functional home for worship and community life.
