McKeehan Residence

Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, the McKeehan Residence is a comprehensive renovation and expansion designed to modernize the home while creating more generous spaces for family life, recreation, and entertaining. The project increases both the main living level and basement, reorganizing the existing floor plan to improve circulation, functionality, and the connection between interior and exterior spaces.

The renovated main level introduces expanded kitchen, dining, and living areas with an open, contemporary character. Exterior improvements replace portions of the existing brick with stone, introduce wood-look and board-and-batten siding, and extend the roof with standing-seam metal detailing. The enlarged basement includes an expanded garage, office, storage, bathroom, entry, and a flexible “everything room.” Site improvements include a repaired driveway, new sidewalk, and a retaining wall with railing and netting that creates space for a basketball court.
