Willow Avenue Mixed Use

Located along Willow Avenue in Knoxville, Willow Avenue Mixed Use is a conceptual development study exploring the potential for commercial space and residential condominiums within a compact urban site. The project was developed through early test fitting and conceptual design, examining how a vertically organized mixed-use building could respond to the property’s dimensions, surrounding development, and growing neighborhood context.

Positioned on a 1.3-acre redevelopment site adjacent to Covenant Health Park and within walking distance of Downtown Knoxville, the concept seeks to create an active urban destination where housing and commercial uses reinforce one another. The study illustrates how thoughtful massing, efficient site planning, and pedestrian-oriented design could support new residential opportunities while contributing activity and density to Knoxville’s rapidly evolving stadium district.
