Dig’n Zone

a smokey mountain attraction

DKLEVY Architecture proudly served as the architectural lead for Dig’n Zone, a groundbreaking construction-themed amusement park located in the heart of Sevierville, Tennessee. This one-of-a-kind, 27-acre destination invites visitors of all ages to experience the thrill of real, hands-on construction equipment in a dynamic, family-friendly environment.

Designed to blend interactive fun with industrial grit, Dig’n Zone features over 25 attractions, including full-size machinery like excavators, rollers, loaders, and forklifts – many of which guests can operate themselves under controlled and safe supervision. The park also includes a sprawling entertainment plaza, indoor arcades, food venues, gift shops, shaded rest areas, and large-scale event spaces.

The DKLEVY team worked closely with Dig’n Zone leadership to ensure that each architectural element supports both the immersive brand experience and long-term operational efficiency. From the industrial-inspired facades and signage to the safety-integrated spatial design, every aspect of the park reflects a cohesive vision of “fun meets function.”

Dig’n Zone has quickly become a must-visit attraction in the Smoky Mountains region, merging experiential learning with family entertainment. DKLEVY is honored to contribute to a project that both celebrates American ingenuity and creates lasting memories for visitors across generations.

Apparently we had reached a great height in the atmosphere, for the sky was a dead black, and the stars had ceased to twinkle. By the same illusion which lifts the horizon of the sea to the level of the spectator on a hillside.
