hawaiiAN legacy senior CARE

a thoughtfully designed community that celebrates connection and honors the spirit of ‘ohana

Located just steps from the ocean, Hawaiian Legacy Senior Care offers a vibrant, restorative environment where residents can live well surrounded by the natural beauty of Oahu. DKLEVY Architecture + Design collaborated with the development team to create a community that captures the spirit of the islands, blending thoughtful senior living design with the tropical landscape and ocean breezes.

The architecture embraces warm, natural materials and organic forms, celebrating Hawaii’s coastal setting. Deep roof overhangs, wood screens, and native stone details provide texture and shade, while expansive lanais and large windows frame stunning views of both the Pacific Ocean and the lush mountains beyond.

Inside, the design is centered around comfort, connection, and dignity. Light-filled gathering spaces, restaurant-style dining rooms, and serene lounges foster community while offering moments of personal retreat. Every interior detail reflects a balance of local craftsmanship and modern sophistication, inspired by the island’s unique culture.

Hawaiian Legacy Senior Care reflects DKLEVY Architecture + Design’s commitment to creating senior communities that honor life, landscape, and local culture, offering residents a home where every day is touched by the rhythms of the sea and the spirit of aloha. Solinity is the co-developer and management company.

Apparently we had reached a great height in the atmosphere, for the sky was a dead black, and the stars had ceased to twinkle. By the same illusion which lifts the horizon of the sea to the level of the spectator on a hillside.
